Iberia Airlines - Flight Cancellations
Spain’s biggest airline fleet includes 141 aircrafts flying to 135 destinations across Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The airline was founded in 1927, with its debut flight flying between Madrid and Barcelona. However, it was not until 1946 until Iberia crossed the Atlantic, stopping in Villa Cisneros, Natal and Rio de Janeiro.
Iberia is also the proud transporter of goods for those in need; between 1993- 2004 it delivers 1,200 tonnes of humanitarian aid to those who required it. Within the last decade Iberia has expanded and improved. This includes setting up a low-cost carrier, merging with British Airways under the IAG Group, redesigning cabins and gaining many more Airbus aircraft.
There highest achievements include being awarded the Skytrax 4-star category as of 2019. Despite being ranked the most punctual of all the world’s major airlines, it does on occasion face delays and cancellations. If you face this hindrance you may be eligible for flight compensation.
