Wizz Air - Flight Cancellations

Important information about Wizz Air
Wizz Air Planes

Wizz Air’s first flight was not until the 19th of May in 2004 departing from Katowice and arriving to London. Since then, Wizz Air offers over 650 routes and has an impressive 25 bases. Within its growth it has become Central and Eastern Europe’s largest low-cost airline travelling to over 145 destinations spread across 44 countries

This year Wizz Air celebrated its fifteenth anniversary of it first flight, as well as reaching the milestone of 200 million passengers carried. Operating a young fleet, with an average age being around 4 years old, the 113 aircrafts are reliable and efficient in operation.

Because there are so many flights, Wizz Air passengers also experience a fair share of delays, overbookings and even cancellations. If this has happened to you, it is worth knowing the EU law that protects you. Passengers experiencing these flight problems may be eligible for flight compensation.
